Scheduled maintenance

To sustain security standards and further improve the EU Data Act Portal experience, we will perform necessary scheduled maintenance beginning on the evening of 15th September. The portal is expected to be unavailable for approximately 48 hours while we implement necessary essential technical updates and usability enhancements.

 

Important Information

Download available data packages before 15th September
If you are expecting data packages or currently have data packages available for download, we recommend downloading them before the maintenance period begins.

Data packages cannot be sent via email
Due to GDPR requirements, data packages cannot be distributed via email.

Existing data-sharing arrangements remain unaffected
All existing data-sharing arrangements with Business Users and Third Parties will remain unchanged during the maintenance period.

Non-expired data packages will remain available
Any data packages with an expiration date beyond the maintenance window will remain available for download once the portal is back online.

What you’ll find in this platform

The following features are supported by the EU Data Act Portal:

Get your data

You can request the data associated with your vehicle and your user account. A file containing available historical data will be provided per request. You can submit a new request at any time if you wish to receive an updated file.

Get customised data

You can configure a set of data clusters of your choice and set the frequency of continuous data delivery. Only one customised data request can be active at a time.

Share your data with a Third Party

You can initiate or stop a data transfer with a third party at any time.

Vehicle connectivity

From vehicles, to brands, to you

The Volkswagen Group Brands offer several vehicle models equipped with connectivity capabilities. This connectivity allows to enhance and improve the vehicle’s current and future functionalities. Users may also receive vehicle-related information on mobile devices through specific applications. Additionally, users may manage vehicle functionalities via these applications.

You can request access to your data via the EU Data Act portal or by contacting our support team. Please note that identity verification may be required before your data can be provided.

EU Data Act relevant data is generally only gathered, if you have a Volkswagen Group Brand account. Therefore, you can only receive data in case you have such an account.

In accordance with the EU Data Act, users are generally entitled to access their vehicle data free of charge.
